THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY
If you are looking for avant-garde fractured fairy tales, then look no further. These titles all tell the familiar fairy tale from the perspective of another character. The digitally created illustrations are bright and cheery. These stories would all be good for teaching point of view, and comparing and contrasting with the original tale. A “think about it” section includes questions for classroom discussion. The websites include games, jokes, and other activities. These will appeal to those looking for a contemporary version of the original tale. Bibliography. Glossary. Websites.

ANOTHER OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY
"I bought this to read to my 5 year old little girl and she loves it. I'm teaching her point of view and this is a great way to do it. The stories are a lot of fun and a great change from the princess is perfect and everything is perfect kind of theme. The characters have flaws and problems, nothing too damaging of course, but it's fun and my daughter thinks it's hilarious! Plus, this book begs you to read it in funny voices...or maybe that's just me...anyway, I feel that you will really enjoy this book if you're looking for something a little different from the everyday princess book!"
Brandi Hanson, Amazon reviewer

BELIEVE ME, GOLDILOCKS ROCKS
"Love the look at this favorite seen from a different light. My 4th grader loved seeing Baby Bear more like herself -somewhere between child and teen. My daughter really related to the need to be seen as more mature. This is a great discussing starter."
Dawn Marie, Amazon reviewer

NO LIE, I ACTED LIKE A BEAST
This is an excellent read-aloud to teach the common core reading literature standard, as well as comparing various texts. The Beauty and the Beast is a wonderful story on it's own, but this version from the Beast's point of view gives the reader a little more "what if" background knowledge of the Beast. The illustrations help with the words for ESL and visual learners. And, the book is also a great tool to help students learn about a character's traits. The best thing about this book is the entertainment it provided my students with laughing and pondering a lot of "what if" questions while we read and compared both this and another version of Beauty and the Beast.

FRANKLY, I NEVER WANTED TO KISS ANYBODY
This is a really fun book for little kids as well as big kids. This particular big (and old) kid likes this book a lot. It is cute and entertaining and also can be used to teach some good lessons. I have seen it used in creative writing as well as in 'point of view' lessons. The illustrations are colorful and attractive and just lots of fun. The little kids that I have read this to have enjoyed it very much. I think it is a keeper.
E. Ervin, Amazon reviewer

"Books are the plane, and the train, and the road.
They are the destination, and the journey. They are home."
